PNEUMATIC HAMMERS
Pneumatic hammers, are tools that work through pneumatic force, using compressed air. In addition to stone, a wide variety of materials such as wood, concret and precast can be worked with pneumatic tools.
SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE OF PNEUMATIC TOOLS
Although pneumatic tools are safe, it is important to consider certain precautions for their proper use and to keep them in good condition.
At Rock&Tools, our main priority is the safety of our customers, so we have created a safety kit that includes reusable earplugs, disposable plugs, a mask to protect against stone dust, safety glasses, and half-finger anti-vibration gloves.
Once we are properly protected, it is advisable to lubricate the tool before using it. To do this, we will place the tool with the air inlet facing up and add a few drops of the specific lubricant for tools. Then, we will connect the hose so that the oil is distributed internally. At Rock&Tools, we have a specially designed oil for pneumatic hammers.
Before starting to use the tool, we must make sure that it is properly connected to the compressor, ensuring that the thread is completely tightened. After using it, it is important to disconnect the hose from the compressor. Finally, to prevent rust from appearing, it is essential to properly clean the tools after use and store them in a dry place.
