Kirschen Two Cherries Straight Carving Gouge – Sweep 10 | Series 3110
The Kirschen Two Cherries Series 3110 straight carving gouge is a professional tool for wood carving and sculpture. Its blade is straight along its length, while the No. 10 sweep forms a tightly curved, deeply concave cutting edge. This shape is especially useful for narrow flutes, rounded recesses and strongly defined carved details.
Compared with sweep No. 9, sweep No. 10 has a tighter transverse curvature. “Straight” describes the lengthwise blade geometry, not a flat cutting edge; the sweep number describes the cross-sectional curve. Sixteen available cutting widths provide options for delicate detail work and larger, controlled cuts.
