A reindeer to decorate the living room
How about starting with a cute reindeer you can place in your living room? It can be any size you prefer and can be posed in any pose you like best (or the one you feel most capable of achieving). If you're not very experienced yet, you can create a simple silhouette and focus on adding more detail to the antlers, which are their most prized feature. We recommend that, once finished, you add some color, either by imitating their natural colors or by leaving them white with some black details. Both options will look great with your Christmas decor!
A Christmas cookie
To continue with a slightly simpler idea, we suggest designing a typical Christmas cookie to place in a special corner. Depending on your existing skill level, you can leave it with less detail and add the finishing touches with paint, or, if you're feeling crafty enough, add a cute smile, some eyes, and—why not?—some Christmas motifs. It'll look fantastic!
A personalized nativity scene
If you have the necessary skill and attention to detail is your thing, then we challenge you to take the risk of designing and creating your own nativity scene. How ambitious it is and how many figures it includes is entirely up to you. This will likely take a few weeks to complete (depending on your time), so don't worry if you don't get it done in time this year—it's an idea you can save for next year! Of course, if you do make it happen, show us the result!
Fill your home with Christmas art
Here's a bonus idea! You can also choose to make mini sculptures, such as elves, a Santa Claus, or a little star, to hang on your Christmas tree. Just don't forget to add a hole to thread a string or cord through to hang them. Do you like this idea? We love it!
